I’ve been having a lot of staircases come my way lately and I feel lucky for that because they are a lot of fun. This one was right down the road from my house which made it even better. That last photo shows how desperately this house needed some new stairs. The 42 year old glue had failed and somebody was bound to find themselves taking the express route to the basement sooner or later. Thankfully we got the stairs replaced and this homeowner no longer has to tip toe their way up and down the stairs.

This project started off with just building some steps and reconfiguring some cabinetry. And over the course of the week things evolved and we’re doing a full makeover. Walls have been taken down, floors are getting refinished and replaced in some places, all new cabinetry and more. When projects grow like this it is exciting but we also have to find the time. Seems like we always do though. And that’s why we’re here on Saturday. Finding the time haha
