We’re adding three new sourdough bagel flavors to tomorrow’s preorder, and I’m so excited about this fall lineup!

🍁 Maple Pecan Sourdough Bagel
Sweet maple flavor with delicious pecans from our favorite Whaley Pecan Co., Inc. right here in Troy.

🎃 Pumpkin Spice Sourdough Bagel
Soft, chewy sourdough with all those cozy pumpkin spice flavors we love this time of year.

🍯🧀 Hot Honey Parmesan Sourdough Bagel
Savory Parmesan with a touch of sweet heat from hot honey. This one is SO good!

Three very different flavors, but I think they’re all going to be favorites. Preorder opens at 11 AM!

Good morning! I wanted to take a minute to clear up something after receiving a low review that mentions a “pickup fee.” 🤎 Farrar Farmacy does not charge a pickup fee or any fees at all! The amount added at checkout is simply the required sales tax, which is automatically calculated through the Hotplate ordering platform.

I completely understand how an extra amount at checkout could be mistaken for a fee, so I just wanted to clarify for anyone who may see the review or have wondered about it!

I’m always grateful for your support of my little business, and I truly appreciate every order, review, share, and kind word. 🥹🤎 Thank you for supporting Farrar Farmacy!

One of my favorite little gifts to put together is a pack of my Organic Farmhouse Bread Dip paired with a fresh loaf of bread 🤎🥖

It’s such a sweet and thoughtful gift for a hostess, neighbor, teacher, friend, birthday, thank-you, or really any occasion! Sometimes the simplest gifts are the ones that feel the most special.

🥐 A little clarification before tomorrow’s preorder goes LIVE at 11 AM! 🥖

I’ll have two different croissant-inspired breads available, and I want to make sure everyone understands exactly what they’re ordering!

🥖 Croissant Sourdough Loaf
This is a true sourdough artisan loaf, but with a buttery twist! The butter is incorporated during the stretch-and-fold process, creating a rich, buttery sourdough loaf with delicious layers throughout. It still has that beautiful artisan sourdough texture and flavor you know and love, but with a stick of butter 🤪

🥐 Croissant Sandwich Loaf
This is a completely different process! This bread is made with yeast dough and laminated butter, using a rolling pin and folding technique similar to how a traditional croissant is made. The result is a soft sandwich loaf with buttery, croissant-style layers!

In short:
🥖 Croissant Sourdough = naturally leavened sourdough + butter laminated during the stretch-and-fold process (pictured on left)
🥐 Croissant Sandwich Bread = yeast dough + traditional rolling-pin butter lamination (pictured on right)

Both are buttery, delicious, and made with lots of love, just two very different breads and techniques!
