18 may 23:

1st full, but thin, coat of Epifanes sprayed...
very quick, about 3 minutes per door...
28% humidity...still dry enough to block blush but dry time is retarded...hoping that 24 hrs will suffice for 2nd coat tmrw.
Varnish is tricky that way...that´s why they invented poly...but i wanted to use varnish on these exterior sides.
Checked on them 7 hours later...no sags or drips or any of that but still very tacky.
Rained some last night, 50% chance tonight.

PT 1) Inspect and clean off a flat roof in March 23.

PT. 3) More tear-out...depth exploration...rot is found to be from exterior side all the way under the panes and into interior portion of entry area. This repair will prevent the entire entry unit form needing replacement...which includes the double-doors.

IPt. 2) nitial tear-out and exploratory removal of termite and water rotted sills, and lower portions of wood casements

PT. 1) Latest project, rotten sills, casings...water damage and particularly termite damage (from termites attracted to the water. Feb start...gets interesting...

Sills and lower portions of window lights rotted completely, even under the panes...but only 3/4" into the lower fat-stile on interior side...scheiza!

Replace entry unit or re-store?

Restore.

This gets very interesting.
