Have you met up with a Blue Oil Fern yet??
Native to the forests of Southeast Asia, these are rare, epiphytic (commonly growing on another plant, such as a tree) tropical plants.
This beauty thrives on low to medium indirect light and is sturdy enough to do well in our drier-air home environments.

A big thank you to Steve Iwaki, who returned to Flourish last weekend, to offer another series of his fabulous Bonsai classes!
Everyone had a wonderful time and came away with some very special Bonsai specimens!

For those with prior experience & an established tree ready for potting up, the Advanced Classes will be happening on Sunday, May 17th.

We are thrilled to welcome back Steve Iwaki this spring, for a Bonsai workshop at Flourish of Tumalo!
Please join us on Saturday, May 16th for one of the two Introductory classes being offered. The Intro class will focus on starting and developing a new, evergreen Bonsai tree.
For those who are returning students, there will be Intermediate classes available on Sunday, May 17th. In this class, we will be advancing the Bonsais that were made last fall.
Registration for both Bonsai classes are open now and we expect them to fill quickly.
