Last week, Giedd Enterprise had the privilege of structurally pruning the iconic Prayer Tree outside Madison, MS City Hall. We met with Mayor Mary Hawkins Butler, who shared the tree’s rich history and significance to the community. Our team carefully removed dead branches and reduced weight on extended limbs to ensure its health and safety. What an incredible and meaningful project! Last week, we pruned a sugar maple for the First Presbyterian Church in Tupelo. Our main focus was to remove dead wood and reduce weight on extended branches to in order to take stress off the trunk.

In July, Giedd Enterprise had the honor of pruning and removing trees at The Beauvoir in Biloxi, MS—the historic last home of Confederate President Jefferson Davis and the presidential library. We worked with care in the Confederate soldier cemetery and across the 70-acre grounds, ensuring preservation and safety.
