The entry to the house is off-center on the sidewalk, providing privacy from the front door to the street. This design lets me use the front sidewalk and part of the entry garden for a private area. I've maintained a section of paving stones initially laid in a straight line facing the front entrance.

My garden on Beverly. Newer owners thought they needed to add those bald cypresses in the front. Not the best choice for the lot lies and good neighbor relations.

Greetings on these first days of spring.
This year I am suggesting that we plant caladium combinations. Here are three that would fit nicely together and give you a good show in the shady parts of the garden (or morning sun). The deep pink, Fannie Munson, will be highlighted when planted next to my favorite white caladium, Moon Light. The Miss Muffets are the speckled caladiums that beautifully tie the pink and white ones together. These three are going around a shaded pool area here in Dallas.
If you want to do white ones only, let us plant an assortment of mixed white caladiums.

Or an all pink mix,

For Flowers and foliage you might like, I have attached some PDFs of flowers and foliage I have access to. I receive availability lists almost daily now, so it is a wise idea to procure the flowers before they are out of stock or for me to have the orders in for the release dates.
Best, Tom Hooper
