These before and after photos are so dramatic, I love remembering all of the work that went into each space.

Patience is the key with home design. Furnishing projects take a minimum of six months while renovations can take at least double that.

There's really three phases when it comes to interior design: research, design, then project management/implementation. Within each of those steps is what feels like a thousand decisions and tasks to help the design come to life.

The goal for this project was for it to be comfortable, inviting, flexible, and casual.

To achieve this we used a light color palette and furniture that can be easily moved. The swivel chairs are perfect to conversing or enjoying that amazing view!

A sofa without accent pillows feels sad or like a showroom.

This is why for every Proposal we write we include an accessory budget. This covers pillows, throw blankets, some art and books and all of the little things needed to make a space feel not only finished but also personal.

While I don't get a chance to travel as much as I'd like, it's important for new design perspectives.

I loved this Stetson Cowboy hat shop with awesome furniture in the back. It may seem like an odd match, but I don't see it that way. For me they are selling a lifestyle not unlike what we do for our clients. Don't just get the hat but get the whole experience is our philosophy as well.

The Eames' were geniuses and their designs are now evergreen and timeless. This is one of my favorite quotes from Charles and one I live by and practice in my work.

Work in Progress! I can definitely relate to my clients when it comes to the design and renovation of a space. We have renovated every home and now office we have ever had together.

While we've shared these photos before, it's a good reminder that while progress can be slow, expensive, and try even the steadiest of patience, it's worth the end result.

The kitchen is the heart of most homes and the pandemic only solidified that. There are a lot of details that fo into the function of a kitchen and when done right can save minutes a day in the space which translates into a few days a year!
