The Stateside Hotel was also completed in the end of last year. I love how this turned out. Fortunately my clients at Jay Peak were extremely happy too! Simple, "lodge-y" feel; perfect for the ski resort.

I had the opportunity to visit Jay Peak yesterday. Unfortunately it was to tour the work that I've done this past year, not to ski. Some photos of the Lodge and Townhomes that we just finished up around Christmas 2013.

I am very saddened with the loss of one of my favorite people; Les Yosek and his wife Jo have been wall vinyl subcontractors of mine since 2006. They did my first ever job in Blacksburg, VA in 2005 after I started DeBlauw Purchasing. Les passed away yesterday working at a project for one of my clients in Maine. My heart is very heavy today, the world lost a wonderful man.

2013 was a fun year! Projects completed include: Hyatt Place Corpus Christi, TX; Hyatt Place Charlottesville, VA; a complete renovation of the Hilton in Durham, NC; a complete renovation of the Seelbach Hilton in Louisville, KY; a complete guest room renovation of the Hilton Garden Inn in Houston, TX; another hotel at Jay Peak, along with 80 Lodge & Town Home units...and much more. I will post pictures as they are available. Looking forward to a great 2014!

The woman that wrote this article called me for an interview. I guess I didn't say much that was interesting enough for her article. I did get a mention and a sentence quoted towards the bottom.

Many properties are considering high technology options when building or renovating in order to capture the lucrative meetings market.

We are also installing 30 cottages on the golf course at Jay Peak - 9 out of 11 buildings have been completed so far. The last two will be installed next week.
