I finally got these four pieces of furniture into my booth this Tuesday. I started trying to get them in last week starting on Wednesday. Rained that day and the next two. Had to work the weekend so I was ready to get them in on Monday. I had told my son that I had the four pieces and being the smart man that he is I figured he knew he had to bring his trailer. I even mentioned would his new truck pull the trailer. So he shows up Monday and no trailer. He asks me what’s going in and I show him and he looks at me ,”like what”. I said I told you last week what I had. He looks at me and says “ mom I don’t ever listen to you”. And there you go. 🤷‍♀️. So needless to say they got in on Tuesday. But I want to say how my son has helped me so much and what a good son he is. Even tho he doesn’t listen to me. lol.

I ordered these fox pillows months ago and they got lost in transit. So had to reorder and it took three months to get them. So they are finally here. I just lost a box of baskets that are supposed to be here by now. The freight company doesn’t know where they went either. What’s up with that? 🤷‍♀️. So I’m taking two candles into my booth the other day. Screen porch is my favorite. So they are in the car with me and I’m enjoying how nice they smell. I make a stop at the bagel place and pick up my bagels I ordered. They smell really good too. I mean can you beat the smell of fresh bread. So I get in the car and put the bagels on the seat next to me. Take off driving and the worst smell hits me. I’m thinking what can that be. I mean candles, bagels can it get any better. Yes it can. I learned do not mix these two items in the same car. It was horrible. Luckily I was just a mile from my destination. I had to roll the windows down to get the smell out of my car. Moral. Don’t do that.

Busy day at Gaslight Diner in Jtown. Started out catering with box lunches. Then had a photographer come to take pics of our desserts and food items for our new web site. That’s the remains of our Italian crème cake and chocolate crème pie. I will be making more so you might want to come and try a piece. Gaslight Diner KY Take care

Just brought these bookend dogs into the booth. I had wondered why they were called bookends because they didn’t look like they would hold books up. Then I thought, when they spoke about marble countertops that were bookend it meant they matched. Each piece of granite matched the other one. Come take a look Middletown Peddlers Mall Take care

Some little blackberry pies and peach pies are going into Gaslight Diner Mothers Day. I also made lemon bread and taste tested it to make sure it was good to eat. It was. lol. If you’re not able to get in tomorrow, all you Moms have a great Mothers Day. Take care.
