The Sherwin Williams 2026 Color of the Year just dropped! Universal Khaki is described as “The Essential Neutral - For homeowners seeking a timeless, trendy and sophisticated space, recommend.” by experts at Sherwin Williams. 🤎

In their announcement they also included the top 4 colors they think pair nicely with Universal Khaki. White Snow, Limestone, Tarragon, and Watery are some cozy cool toned greys, blues and neutrals. ❄️

Design to Build: Field Update! 🚧
Construction has started on this terrace we designed! First step was demo. We stripped the roof over the garage down to the concrete. Next, with rain in the forecast, the roof needed to be tarped in preparation, as to not cause any leaks to the inside of the garage or house. 🌧️ Finally, after catching a break in the rain, the framers were able to install all I-Joists for the floor, to the LVL beam.
Stay tuned to watch this terrace get built to completion!

Check out this before and after addition and house remodel project we did! The house itself needed a remodel after sitting empty for a while, and our clients wanted to add on a master suite. After a full design process, we went straight into construction to give this house a little love and turn it into a dream home for this family! We absolutely love how it turned out! 🍂

Check out this design we did to turn a terrace over a garage into a fun, enclosed hangout room! We experimented with different roof layouts, window placements, and exterior fixtures to help show the client what it would look like. Stay tuned to see it come to life in the construction process! 🛠️

Check out this bathroom before and after! 🛁
This space is so cozy and a perfect space for guests. Removing the double sink and replacing it with a single sink, allowed us to add more storage with vanity tower cabinets. The shower also got a refresh by replacing the tub and taking out the shower surround and swapping it for this gorgeous tile.

A couple weeks ago, our lead designer went to a few houses on the Dayton Homearama Touring Edition!
If you haven't heard, Homearama is a home touring event in the Dayton area and was hosted by the Home Builders Association (HBA) of Dayton this year, presented by Lee Supply. According to their website, "The event featured eight newly constructed homes located throughout the Dayton region, with seven available for in-person tours and one accessible exclusively online. Visitors had the opportunity to explore the homes in person or virtually." 🏡
While there, our designer noticed some new house trends and wanted to share those with you! Some of those included fun wallpaper, cool accent walls, stripes, paneling, and fun lighting. Check out that labeled light switch too!

Look at this gorgeous kitchen and living before and after! The new cabinetry, paint, and light fixtures really brightened up this space. 🌟 Moving the island also allowed for a better flow through both rooms and helped create a more spacious and inviting atmosphere for entertaining, or just eating dinner with the family.
