Phase Three of our North Main Street project has begun. It took a little while for this one to get going because we needed to install twenty-eight helical piers at depths of fourteen feet to one hundred thirty-seven feet as we moved closer to the water's edge. This building will be completely different from the main house, but with enough similar architectural elements and color schemes to compliment each other. The design is by H. Woodby Designs Now Shoreline Building Company just has to live up to it.

This beautiful custom design home by H. Woodby Designs has a gambrel roof, reversed floor plan, waterfront, on driven pilings, and is hot off my desk.
This 2800 square feet +- of heated living space contains 3 large bedrooms, a home office, large custom primary bath , screened porch, decks on both levels, 2 car garage and an elevator so the homeowners will be able to retire in their forever dream home, comfortably.
Shoreline Building Company has been awarded the contract build and we cant wait to get started on this stunning home.

The second phase to the house on North Main Street is complete. The homeowner wanted the ground level to be finished. Since it is in a flood zone, additional care was needed to adhere to FEMA regulations. This house was designed by H. Woodby Designs. It was a very successful design/build collaboration. We have a great client, a fantastic designer, wonderful subcontractors, and, as we move into Phase III (The Free Standing Garage ReBuild), we hope for the same successful outcome.

This is the kitchen/dining room of our North Main Street project. This is an open floor plan concept by HWoodbyDesigns in a design/build collaboration with Shoreline Building Company. This scenario provides the client with “one stop shopping” and a team approach between the designer and the builder. There is no conflict between architecture and contractor, since we are all a part of the same team. Plus we happen to be married, which makes it very easy to get answers from each other.

This kitchen features:
10” character grade, engineered white oak floors
Solid, one and a half inch, black walnut island countertop (built in-house)
54” kitchen sink with two main faucets and a Zip water system
60” Pro Grand Thermador, dual electric range with steam oven
Counter depth, built-in Thermador freezer/refrigerator
Thermador hood with remote, exterior blower for quiet exhaust
Under-cabinet lighting
Herring bone solid stone backsplash and quartz countertops
Pot filler over the range
Solid maple cabinetry with slow close hardware
Wide and deep drawers to maximize storage
Built-in spice racks, built-in dishwasher, built-in microwave
Sliding trash drawers and multiple sliding pantry racks.

Phase 1 of our North Main Street project is substantially complete. In the coming days we will be posting photographs of the build and the great job by the Shoreline Building Company team bringing the design vision to reality.

The Shoreline crew members are bringing the finishing touches together for our North Main Street project. Here Keevin and Gage are building the custom Black Walnut Island countertop. We brought in the 2” thick by 16’ long walnut slabs from North Carolina. They have been flattened, joined and sanded over several tedious days. The Navy Blue island features a 57” undermount sink with two faucets, panel ready dishwasher and several deep drawer cabinets. The walnut countertop will be finished shortly. More pictures of this project, as it comes to its conclusion, to come.
