In following our lifelong love of gardening, sisters, Cathy Phelps & Janet Martini founded Ca-Jan Designs in September 2018. We specialize in the on-site design & installation of containers, outdoor/indoor planters, window boxes, centerpieces & ready-made gardens. We will visit your home/business to assess your location, help determine your needs & select color sch

emes. Then we design, procure, and install your own new mini-garden, complete with care instructions. We will also design & deliver custom centerpieces/tabletop gardens. Having grown up on our family farm in Clover, SC, and completed the SC Master Gardener Program through Clemson University, Cathy & Janet have combined their love of gardening to make it easy for you to have your own personalized, handcrafted garden. Cathy graduated from Winthrop College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Economics. She spent a 21-year career in the field of Insurance & Risk Management as Director of Risk Management Services for the SC School Boards Insurance Trust, the Risk Manager for the City of Greenville, and then after having her son, worked part time as an Account Manager for Arthur J Gallagher Risk Management & Insurance Services. She later worked in the Guidance Department at Greenville High School, from which she retired in 2019. She is married, has a son who attends the College of Charleston, and lives in Greenville, SC. Janet graduated from Winthrop College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology/Sociology, and then received her Masters in Education from Clemson University in Counseling. She spent almost 30 years in the not-for-profit substance use disorder field, most recently 20 years as Executive Director of Keystone Substance Abuse Services in York County, SC from which she retired in 2018. Janet maintains her professional licenses/certifications as a SC Licensed Professional Counselor & Supervisor, SC Licensed Addictions Counselor, Certified Addictions Counselor II, and National Certified Counselor. She is married and lives in Fort Mill, SC. A Few Client Testimonials...

In following our lifelong love of gardening, sisters, Cathy Phelps and Janet Martini, founded Ca-Jan Designs in September 2018. We specialize in the on-site design and installation of containers, outdoor/indoor planters, window boxes, centerpieces and ready-made gardens. We will visit your home or business to assess your location, help you determine your needs and select color schemes. Then we design, procure, and install your own new mini-garden, complete with care instructions. We will also design and deliver custom centerpieces and tabletop gardens. To assist you in the care of your new containers, we can also install a simple above ground irrigation system connecting to your outdoor hose bibb/spigot. We work in the Greenville and York County, SC areas.

Having grown up on their family farm in Clover, SC, and completed the SC Master Gardener Program through Clemson University, Cathy & Janet have combined their life-long love of gardening to make it easy for you to have your own personalized mini-garden.
