If anyone has allergies of any kind I’ve installed a few of these air scrubbers and have heard nothing but great things about them! Call for a quote to install one of these. I’m going to put one in my own home as well.

Stay cool everyone! Check your filters every 3-6 months and change accordingly! I’m also finding that some people have put 2-4 filters inside system. DO NOT DO THIS! Very bad for the system and can cut down the life of the AC.

Left is what a coil should look like. Right is a gummy matted coil cause the filters were never taken care of. This is the worst coil I’ve ever seen in my almost 20 years in trade. This is going to be a very hard and repetitive cleaning process. KEEP ON TOP OF YOUR FILTERS.

So I pulled this pic from the internet but I’ve been pulling out filters that look like this. Keep your filters from looking like this by changing every 3-6 months. It’ll cost you hundreds or thousands of dollars if you don’t keep on top of the filter.

So it's been a little while since my last post of the start of summer maintenance post. Sorry for the delay on it.

The AC maintenance will include cleaning of condenser coils and cleaning of debris from unit, freon/puron refrigeration levels, changing filter, inspecting indoor evaporator coil, and inspecting/cleaning indoor blower motor, and inspecting ducts (if accessible).

Regular price for this service is normally 175.00 but until May 31st this price will be 145.00. Will notify of any other potential problems that may exist with system and if requested to address these issues Performance will give an estimate before any repairs be fixed.

It's been a wet and snowy winter. Hope no one had any major issues due to the rain but as a reminder, Summer is just around the corner. No airflow due to clogged coil...check filters every 3-6 months...also the duct in back was cut in by some HACK for the room addition in past and that room addition never cooled down...well that's because it was cut in wrong spot and should've been cut in above this coil after the air has been conditioned!...instead it was cut in before it could be conditioned...know your contractors...
