2013 me would never believe the life I’m living in 2026.

There was a season where all I could see was survival. A newly divorced single mom of two girls, trying to hold it together while rebuilding from the ground up. What felt like rock bottom at the time was actually the beginning of everything.

No blueprint. No shortcuts. Just faith, resilience, creativity, and the decision to keep going even when life got heavy. ✨

Dreams deserve direction, access, and community. 🤍✨

After reviewing so many incredible applications, narrowing down this year’s selected students for the College Design Mentorship Program was not easy. The talent, creativity, and passion I saw reminded me why I love pouring into the next generation of designers, creatives, and entrepreneurs.

These students are officially in for an experience filled with real-world insight, creative development, mentorship, encouragement, and honest conversations about what it truly takes to build a career and walk confidently in your purpose.

As someone who entered this industry with faith, determination, and a dream, being able to give back in this way means everything to me. I’ve always believed that success becomes even more meaningful when you reach back and help others rise too.

This is bigger than interior design for me. It’s about community, exposure, encouragement , and creating spaces for young people to feel seen, supported, and inspired to chase the life they envision for themselves.

I’m honored to mentor these amazing students and I cannot wait to watch them grow.

It’s my birthday… and I’m not the same woman I was a year ago and that’s the greatest gift of all. 🎉✨

48 on 4/18… a divine alignment. A reminder that I’m grounded in stability (4) while stepping fully into abundance, power, and infinite flow (8). This isn’t just another year this is elevation, expansion, and walking boldly in everything meant for me.

I’ve evolved. I’ve stretched. I’ve trusted myself in rooms I once prayed to enter. I’ve learned that growth doesn’t always look pretty, but it always produces purpose.

Today, I’m celebrating the woman I’ve become the resilience, the discipline, the faith, and the unwavering belief that I am worthy of everything I’ve been working toward.

Grateful for the lessons. Grateful for the wins. Grateful for the becoming.

This next chapter? Even bolder. Even softer. Even more aligned.

Yesterday, I had the honor of pouring into the next generation of leaders

Speaking with the Entrepreneurship Innovation Center & VCDM Department on “Building & Becoming: The Entrepreneur’s Mindset” was nothing short of powerful. From discussing entrepreneurship and marketing, to diving into their business ideas and reviewing their logos these students are READY!!

What inspired me most? Their curiosity, their boldness, and their willingness to chase what their hearts truly desire.

Moments like this remind me that purpose isn’t just about building your own vision it’s about reaching back and helping others ignite theirs.

To every student in that room: keep going, keep building, and most importantly… keep becoming. 💛

Thank you for the invitation, tour and the opportunity. Thank you to the Director Johnetta for allowing me to enter the space to share with these wonderful students.
