★★ Long post about it:

It took me a hot minute to get here but I'm glad I pushed through it. I thought about giving up a few times. (Which is weird bc I've always been stubborn and pushed through anything)

This.. was tough.

It's so easy to get discouraged and let intrusive thoughts slip in about a tattoo apprenticeship. On top of that, I was at another shop for a while and was told to leave because I wasn't a good fit. I almost quit there, thinking I almost never fit in wherever I am (OCD is no joke about being your own personal bully).

This has been my dream for a while though and I knew this made me happy. I never let not fitting in really get to me until that moment. I realized I shouldn't start then.

I picked myself back up and found a new place to call my dream job. I'm here and I made it, despite everything negative my mind was telling me. I appreciate my support system through this journey and my clients who've helped me get better everyday. I'm so glad I didn't give up. Thank you to everyone who helped me along my apprenticeship. I'll genuinely never forget. 🫂

Decided on doing a semicolon tattoo and I love that I was able to. (Forgot to take a pic before the second skin) The semicolon represents when you could've chosen to end your sentence but you sentence continues. A metaphor for self-h*rm and s**c*de. I'm glad you're still here 🖤 thank you for this opportunity.
