In 2008 the property was acquired by David Hines and underwent a complete restoration project over a several months period. The renovation brought back the original glory and beautiful of the property and it presently stands as a residence as well as a historical showcase. The house has ma

David and Evelyn Hines invite you to Christmas Open House at their Century Old Home, December 14th from 6:30 until 9:00 p.m. You can drop by any time to tour the house.

The House was built in 1906 and had remained in the Dorris Family for almost 100 years until purchased by David Hines in 2008. The house has a lot of the original features including 11 fireplaces, the original bead board ceilngs, transums, and hardwood floors. The porch wraps around most of the house with 22 columns.
Refreshments will be served. (No gifts please.)
