Now that the walls are up, the big visual impact stuff begins! 🤩

Here’s the most recent update 🤗

Sheetrock complete ✅

Walls textured and ready for paint ✅

After many different whites reviewed, the perfect warm white has been selected ✅

Exterior brick and paint locked in ✅

Cabinet hardware finalized and on order ✅

Countertop fabrication plans signed off ✅

Millwork installed! ✅

We are right around the corner from paint (transformative!!) and cabinet install! Once those cabinets are in, everything really begins to take shape!

Just over 3 months til the GRO Parade of Homes doors are open to the public! Will we see you there!? 🤩👏👏

60 pages 🫠

That’s how long my design service SOP (standard operating procedure) documentation is. I finished writing it last night. It outlines how I run a single project from start to finish.

I already knew that, as an interior designer, I do a lot of invisible work, but creating this reference for the company as it grows reminded even me just how much goes into this job 💪

I wish I could share the entire 60 pages with you without throwing you into a coma, so instead, here’s just a little taste of the behind-the-scenes micro decisions your designer is making for you every 👏 single 👏 day 👏

All of a sudden, moving in feels like it was the easy part 😳

If you’ve moved in and the place just doesn’t feel right yet, you’re not alone. For a lot of new homeowners, furnishings are treated as an afterthought 😢

Furnishing a home takes real time. And trying to rush it leads to what I call the “rush it, hate it” spiral 😵‍💫

The house has an echo, so you make sacrifices just to get stuff in there 🙈

That’s a recipe for replacements, returns, and serious overwhelm 👎

Your designer helps you move faster, smarter, and with a plan that actually accounts for lead times, budget phases, and the bigger picture. The goal isn’t done. The goal is done well.

Where is everybody tho??? 👷‍♀️🔨🔩

It’s an eerie feeling when you walk in to the sound of silence at a construction site 👀 no buzzing drills, no hammering, no rock music on full blast (iykyk 😝)

In all reality, this project is moving along QUICKLY. I am so excited to see this GRO Parade of Homes project come to life over the next few short months! 🙌
