We don’t claim to be perfect at maintaining our garden; in fact, we often tell people that ask about our big garden, “It’s a huge mess right now.”

We are in our fifth year of trying to grow more homegrown food for our family, and every year at the beginning of planting season we get overeager and bite off way more than we can chew…

However, I like to believe in fresh beginnings. Sometimes all we need is a little love before we can flourish once again, it’s all about what you learn along the way.
