By now you’ve probably seen the IKEA hack trends that have become so popular. A cheap and easy one is to line cabinet backs with inexpensive, removable wallpaper for a trendy or themed look. When you’re ready change just pull it right off.

Here we chose a faux grasscloth in cream to lighten the backdrop for the items we put inside.

Staging Tips:

Decorating your home for resale is very different than decorating for everyday living. The goal with staging for resale is to minimize furnishings and accessories so that the potential buyer’s attention will be towards your home’s special features and architecture. Wide open spaces are the most desirable, so we intentionally minimize décor and furnishings to achieve this goal. In a staging consult that can seem like you are being told to get rid of a lot of items. We are not focusing on the items per se, we are looking for ways to open up the space to achieve the goals of creating the biggest and brightest rooms possible.

The changes may feel "empty" at first, but trust your stager and realtor in this smile emoticon:-).These “tricks” pay off. Staged home sell faster and at a higher price.
