When I started B.C. Cleanouts two years ago, my goal was simple: help local families clear out space. What I didn’t realize was how much of a difference we could make by keeping good, usable items out of the landfill.

Over the last month alone, we’ve donated close to 40 bags and bins of clothing and household goods directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rhode Island.

Every time we unload at their donation center, I’m reminded that these items aren't just extra stuff, they’re going directly to support local families and kids in our community who need them most. It’s easily the most rewarding part of running this business, and I’m so grateful to our customers for making it possible.
