This is the time of year to put Daffodils, Crocus Tulips (Darwin Hybrid) and other types of bulbs in. Just make sure that they get into place they belong (sun places or shady). Follow directions. To plant as naturalize, throw a small amount in the area (not high) and plant where they land; use your judgement on where they land.

Do you think organic produce have pesticides in it? Yes organic produces has chemicals in it. There are many organic pesticides out there. It is that time of year to water your lawn. On developed/established lawns the lawn only need one inch of water a week and preferably all at one. Just take a tuna can or a cat food can and fill it up. You can time it and see how long it takes to fill it up in that spot.

Mowing your lawn when it is wet (during the rain and immediately after rain) is not a good idea. You can damage the grass; there are several ways you can damage it. The (major reason) are the wheels of the mower can ripe the plant and the soil as you turn the mower. If you live next to a wetland you can have water under the soil and the soil moves like waves (I mowed a business next to a wetland and had this happen to me). When mowing wet grass you more likely to have clumping of grass. Clumping of the grass clippings could shade out the turf and create dead spots in your lawn. The mower blade(s) does not do a quality cut of the turf. During a rainstorm I watch my neighbor's landscaper mow the lawn. The only thing I saw being discharged was water. The lawn did not look good after he was done. A landscaper that mows during or right after a rainstorm is not a good quality company.
