OMG I almost died today. And yes, I’m being dramatic, but honestly only like 12%.

I put a tarp on my 10x20 baby duck run all by myself, got shredded, fell three times, had salty sweat pouring directly into my eyeballs, and felt like I was breathing hot soup that was somehow also angry at me.

And the grand finale? It’s wrong and has to be redone. Because of course it does.

So anyway, I’m basically a pioneer woman now. A deeply unsuccessful, slightly traumatized pioneer woman.

I made my first sourdough bread this weekend. Starter was a gift from a friend of my husband’s. My family ate it all in one sitting except what’s left. I should’ve taken a picture when I first pulled it out of the oven and cut it. But I didn’t.
