George Family Farms Specializing in water fowl

Life at George Family Farm gets extra adorable when the tiny ducks come out. Our Call Ducks show up like little comedians — loud, round, and always convinced they’re the stars of the show.

Meanwhile, the West Indies glide around acting like they’re in a high‑fashion runway moment. Quiet, sleek, and way too elegant for the Call Ducks’ chaos.

Two tiny breeds, two totally different energies… and somehow they make the farm even more fun every day.

If there’s a fresh pool on the farm, you can bet the Pekins are already in it. They’re almost always the first birds to jump right in — no hesitation, no questions, just pure duck joy.

Pekins are built for water. Their feathers are extra dense and naturally waterproof, their bodies are buoyant, and their big orange feet are basically paddles. Swimming keeps them cool, lets them forage, and gives them a chance to show off those happy tail wiggles we love so much.

So when we fill a clean pool at George Family Farm, the Pekins treat it like a grand opening event. First in, last out, and loving every splash.

Johnny is out here trying to get the Khaki Campbells to come say hi… and they’re giving him the classic duck side‑eye.
That “we see you, but we’re absolutely not participating in whatever you’re doing” look.

Khaki Campbells are smart — and a little dramatic. If they’re not sure about you, they’ll pretend you’re just part of the scenery.
But peas? Peas turn everything around. Suddenly Johnny becomes the most important human on the farm.

At George Family Farm, we respect the side‑eye… and we respect the peas that defeat it.

Goosey and Goosey Mama are one of the sweetest bonded pairs on George Family Farm. Goosey is our Chinese White gander, and he takes his job very seriously — always stepping in front to protect his Toulouse girl.

Where she goes, he goes. Calm, loyal, and completely devoted. They’re truly one of the farm’s little love stories.

Muscovy ducks are some of the sweetest, quietest birds on our farm — gentle foragers, incredible mothers, and full of personality. They keep George Family Farm lively and give us some of the richest, creamiest eggs. Life here wouldn’t be the same without them.
