Hanging Anaglypta paper on a ceiling today and was thinking it’s been over 35 years since I last hung this type of paper. Brings back memories….I love that wall covering’s are making a steady come-back.

Paper is designed to be painted over so will be interesting to see how it finishes up.

Two keys to hanging paper on a ceiling, on your own, are as follows:
1. Instead of using a regular booking fold you must use a ‘concertina’ fold.
2. You must also use a paper ‘ceiling prop’ for support.

I had to ‘jury rig’ mine, using an extension pole and a snow pusher, as I haven’t owned one in many years. Pusher is still too narrow so will have to make a wider one.

Patterned grasscloth - While not my favorite wall covering to hang at the best of times and especially when it has a pattern, I will always take on the challenge…..FYI - it’s like trying to hang sheets of cardboard!!! 😂
