A fun fact about our shop, we have 4 mutations we’ve found in our vast collection.
Many of which are just non remarkable, more for our fun to toy and tinker with, some of which will not be released for retail.
First we have this Brazil mutation this one was discovered last month, so not much anything to share other that the sheathing mutation it’s sheath is attached to the petiole like a pothos or monstera, not a philo, and the stem is thickening quickly as if it’s becoming a climbing philo, the leaf is spotting very narrow swordlike, as of now this isn’t releasable as the mutation is showing in 1-2 leaves and a month old, fun nonetheless.
Next is our pearls and jade pothos mutation, we’ve named it the Lillian. Not sure if this will be releasable or not as it looks like it may be trying to revert, we’re trying to figure out exactly what she plans to do next.
Next is a tradescantia mutation, found growing off our albiflora mother plant, (she’s dead… forgot to bring in before the frost.) this vine began with the albo stripes then was solid green then had leaves with this lavender striping, we thought it may be sunstress but it’s been in super low light conditions and staying purple, it’s showing stable beings it’s been cut multiple times and is pushing multiple growth points. We’re deciding if this will release or not and if it does we will name it and push it out.
Lastly is this syngonium albo mutating to present syngonium batik characteristics. We won’t push this as it’s unremarkable and we haven’t cut to see if it’s even stable.
