I’ve been here before.

It happened to me not long ago. I found myself in a situation that felt eerily familiar—one where I was shrinking myself, ignoring my intuition, and tolerating things I swore I’d never accept again.

At first, I brushed it off. “It’s fine,” I told myself. “I’m overreacting.” But deep down, I knew the truth: this wasn’t new. This was the past trying to repeat itself.

Here’s what I’ve learned:

I chose myself.
I walked away.
