The second project I want to showcase after a while following the gazebo is a transformation of an old and semi abandoned land into a new dryway and parking lot, with just enough space to fit an extra car; we also did a new spot for gardening with beautiful plants and built a custom made fencing for more privacy 😎 👨‍🌾. It took almost 10 days of work with my team and a special concrete crew. Thanks for trusting us!

Hello everybody. It’s been a while since my last post about Built to Last works. Thanks God we’ve been working in small and medium different home improvements projects, and now I want to share a couple of the most challenging ones, starting with the installation of a patio gazebo: the instructions said it was a DYI in one day with your friends 😅 but not really!

We spent more than 12 hours of hard work 😅 plus the time reading and understanding the handbook not simple instructions!

The final result was totally worth it!

A quick update on small but great project. An old repaired leakage turned in a permanent drop leakage during rainy season so we had to find out what the problem was. We discovered the water was coming from outside the unfinished siding and channeling on top of the bay window, and we were able to seal it from the outside and repair the internal damage, refreshed the ceiling paint and crown molding as well as to attach a loose fixed light!

Winter time is kind of slow for construction in general so I have to look for alternatives which I’ll be sharing soon! Nonetheless, we have supported a couple of customers with emergencies with plumbing and breakers, some renovating projects like remodeling kitchens, hardwood floors (installation and sanding), painting and patching, custom made shelves, replacing old fixtures for recessed lighting and more. Check it out and let us know how we can help you!

Hello everybody! It’s been a while since my last post about Built to Last home improvement projects. I hope 2023 brings you new opportunities! To reconnect with you all I want to show you one of the best jobs from last year, which I really liked: the remodeling of a confessional on a Catholic Church. The whole process was full of details and learnings: carpentry, barn windows, stained glass, stained colors, antique restoration, electrical improvements and more. Here’s a couple of pictures of the final results! Take a look and enjoy!

Recently we helped a customer with her home remodeling. We worked on big tasks and small details: refurbishing floors, painting and touch ups on walls and ceilings, baseboards, crown molding, doors, framing, etc. We also changed some outlets, GFCIs, switches. We installed new metal plates, fixture lights and recessed lights and custom made shelves as well. Bathroom refreshed with grout and caulking all around and new exhaust fans and cleaning dryer ducts. Changed mesh for windows, new hinges for bathroom doors and new stops for all doors. After two weeks it has a totally new face. All the effort was totally worth it! Check it out by yourselves and let us know how we can help you! Thanks for doing business with us 👷🏼‍♂️

Some projects do not need much introduction, sometimes it may be enough to see the extraordinary results like the ones of this reviving of antique hardwood floors.

These hard pine wood floors are maybe 50 years or more, have lots of damaged on the planks and the stairs are almost loosened in a couple of steps. We repaired as well as fixed a few spots and the threads on the stairs. Check out the process and the final results in the pictures ✅😅🙏🏼

Hello everybody. Recently we finished a couple of home improvement projects that I want to share with you all. First we took care of some imperfections and cracks on the walls of a condo, then we painted and refreshed all walls, including changing the color of the whole ceiling. All the moldings, trims, and doors were caulked and touched up (15 interior doors including the main entrance). Summing up, we spent 7 days taking good care of the floors, cabinetry, fixture lights, mirrors, etc. We also did some minor electrical changes and cleaning the extractors plus caulking backsplash, bathrooms and touching up the blinds with minor repairs and caulking. Check out the pictures!
