It's about slowing down enough to embrace the stillness and beauty and magic in everyday life. Yeduri is about being deeply rooted and having a damn good time. Through Yeduri, I (Yvonne) craft hand bound leather journals, healing salves, and lead rituals and events that bring us closer to who we are. I garden and forage and get lost in the woods. I'm a girl trying to love herself and her people through hard times and spread vital knowledge to those who need it.

Super excited about upcoming events and y'all have so many opportunities to come see me and what i have to offer!!
This week! I was selected to participate in the Artists Bazaar at the Maryland Citizens For The Arts Maryland State Arts Council. I'll be there Tuesday and Wednesday attending workshops and vending. If you're there I'd love to see you!!
Next week! Sunday 6/28 I'll be at one of my favorite places - Accokeek Foundation with my nature journaling scavenger hunt!! We're celebrating the Potomac River and our ties to her with activities and food and animals and even a pop up museum. I will not have my products available for sale at this event but it'll be a great chance to check out a pretty cool park.
7/11 and 8/15 I'm back at the La Plata Farmers Market with my Market! Look for my yellow tent and stop by to stock up on salves and grab a journal to write all about how you're spending your summer vacation!
7/12 I'm leading a Plant Walk at one of my fave parks. Come prepared to learn about local plants you should know about in Summer and hopefully spy some nomable berries! Tickets are available on my website and showing people plants is one of my favorite things.

Holy crap guys everybody calm down CALM DOWN BUT HOLY CRAP LOOK MY FIRST TOMATO FLOWERS OF THE SEASON. Paul Robeson from starting us off!! My Roma VF seeds (originally from Southern exposure) aren't long behind though!
Did you know that saved seeds have adapted to your region/sunlight/watering so work grow better the longer you save? You could ultimately come up with your own I think that's pretty neat.

Today, I rested. I took a hammock nap. I read. IDK why I'm saying it past tense. I'm still here. I have been so rushed and so go go go - changing your life will do that. I am 💯 not about whatever hustle or grind. I am about nervous system regulation, self care, rest, and focused action.
I'm thankful for summer and for my hammock and for the one week-ish i have left until these kids are home for the summer. Hyair Sunday, y'all. Rest is revolutionary. Take care of your body and go find a hammock somewhere.

The Westside Summer Festival was big fun and i managed to get a "Cha Cha Real Smooth..." in! Big thanks to for putting this on and hanging SO MANY dope vendors!! Folks sleep on Western Charles Co and only think Waldorf and La Plata. We have so many hidden gems on this end and gorgeous nature.
Plus you can add espresso to your ice cream cus .coffee.ih is right next door!!

I carried a watermelon
Home from Sunday funday and gave it to my chickens! While they don't do any dirty dancing over it, they do look like they enjoy it. They get moved TODAY so they'll have lots of yummy forage soon too!
Enjoy this lil 3 minute video of chicken tending. Watching them is the third best part of having them. ♥️
