A much delayed post (I am terrible with social media). We moved out of DC after 17 years of living in the city. We moved at Thanksgiving which feels like a year ago and also last week at the same time. We still have plenty of boxes to get through. People have asked why Warrenton. And you must visit to understand. A very charming quaint town that offers us more space (home and huge yard) and we are only an hour for DC! EPDS is definitely still taking on projects in DC, but we do hope to add Warrenton to our project locations. Our house was built in 1840s and has a lot of character and is in good shape but as our realtor said “is a bit of a fixer upper”. The colors throughout are more Williamsburg gold, yellow and blue than my taste, so we will definitely be painting most every surface. Here is to living in chaos for a bit and trying to make design decisions for myself!
