(Rose hips of native California Rose bush)
This Sunday is our last "Professor Sprout's Muggle World Herbology Walk" of the season in the native plant garden. Meet "Professor Sprout" at 10 am in front of the Nature Center for this 45-60 minute easy walk, while we look at native plants, how some relate to the Wizarding World movies and books and how indigenous people have used them for thousands of years and how modern medicine has found disease cures in California plants. Free, just the usual $6 per car (cash) entry fee. The air-conditioned Nature Center will be open after the walk. (New walks are coming in September, also on the first and third Sundays of the month, at 11 am. Stay tuned for more info!)
