❤️ 🔐 Check out this fun valentines event with BNCA!

Neighbors! Brookland Civic is kicking off 2026 with another fun neighborhood event for Valentines Day!

Please mark your calendars for SATURDAY FEB 14th for our Hearts + Locks Event!

We're going to decorate the Brookland Kiosk with Hearts and Locks made by the community! Feel free to bring your own or you can make one at 's Art Studio on Saturdays before the event! (date TBD).

Make a heart and right what you love our neighborhood, a friend, family member, loved one, your dog or cat or fish! Then come hang it on the kiosk for all to see the love! Bring a lock if you prefer just like they do in Paris!

We'll have Franklin the Bear Cookies again and other treats and sips as well!

Swing by this evening for some holiday cheer, Brookland style!

TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT!

We're lighting the Welcome Kiosk and surrounding trees with holiday twinkle! At the same time, the Moon will be Super and Full giving us all a giant overhead light for tonights event!

We'll have hot drinks for sipping (hot chocolate, cinnamon tea and warm apple cider)
Holiday Cookies including Franklin the Bear!
We hope to see you later for some holiday cheer!

Lets gather as a neighbors in the best neighborhood in DC!

Tell a neighbor and dress warm!

TIME: 630p / Lights go on at 7pm
Stop by early if you cant stay too long and grab a cookie and handgan ornament!
