Hello everyone! I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to everyone! My name is Perry (Smith) Hicks, and I’m the baker behind Firefly Cookie Co. I grew up in the East Tosa neighborhood, which is exactly why I chose to name my business after the place that shaped me. “Firefly” is inspired by the meaning of Wauwatosa—something that always felt close to home.
Baking has been a love of mine since I was a kid. What started as something fun quickly became a passion I couldn’t ignore. Today, I’m a full-time teacher, and baking has grown from a hobby into something so much more.
I officially started this business in October 2024, and it has been amazing to see how much it has grown since then. I’m so grateful for the support.
