Exciting news!!

R. Mutt Plumbing & Heating is looking to expand.

Ideal candidates should have 4+ years of experience. Journeyman’s or Master’s licenses are valued and compensated. Must provide own tools.

The individual should be upbeat, able to follow directions, self-motivated, and able to perform physical labor. We offer great starting pay, health benefits, and paid vacation. We seek to provide an increased level of autonomy to the person filling this role.

Work is high end, customer residential home remodeling and alterations. We do hydronic heating installations, repairs and service. Applicants with additional HVAC expertise could excel in this position.

This is an entry level position. No previous experience required. Previous experience can increase starting pay. The work includes moving and organizing tools and equipment. Monitoring inventory on jobsite, truck and shop. Work is almost exclusively in residential homes. Residential plumbing remodeling and service work.

We are looking to train employees through and apprenticeship program. Teach and grow with employees basic and advanced plumbing skills. Ultimately, achieving Journey Person and Master Plumber’s licenses. Costs of apprenticeship program are covered.

Applicants should enjoy problem solving, being around people, doing physical labor. The ability to self organize and complete tasks would really help any individual excel in this position.

This is a really neat initiative. We helped expand the irrigation system for a new phase of this project at The Woodlands. It’s a lot of fun to be a functioning cog in something much bigger than us.

Issues like climate change, economic inequity and access to food have brought more attention to this creamy fruit and its resilient tree.

2020 has certainly presented unique challenges to all types of businesses and industries. The challenge for R. Mutt Plumbing & Heating is how to provide the same quality of service and workmanship while meeting the safety challenges of 2020. We have decided to take that challenge on through growth. In the spring, we welcomed Jeremy Barr. Jeremy was transitioning to civilian life from the military. He has been the best imaginable first employee for our company and we are thrilled he’ll be advancing his apprenticeship by beginning a four year plumbing program in the next few weeks. As the year progressed, it became clear that more was needed to rise to the challenges of our time to continue to provide high quality, safe and compassionate services to our customers. To meet those needs, this week, we brought on Kenneth Schestok. Ken is an old friend who embodies the best of what the plumbing industry has to offer. With well over a decade of experience, he brings tremendous insights to each task through an artist’s lens. His educational training in fine arts provides a much needed different prospective in the problem solving part of the job. Ken will be focusing, largely, on service work. We are excited to grow. We are grateful for all of the people who believed in us enough to allow us to grow. Thank You!!!!

Flushing things other than toilet paper can clog pipes and harm sewage treatment plants – including so-called “flushable” wipes. Help your home, your building, and your community – watch what you flush!

If the President of the United States is too busy to show up at your house to help with plumbing concerns, R. Mutt Plumbing & Heating would be glad to help. We too “look very strongly at sinks and showers, and other elements of bathrooms.” We may not see eye to eye on the E.P.A., but we do agree a poorly maintained plumbing system can waste water. Wasting water is just throwing money down the drain.

It’s been a tough morning for people who live in flood prone areas. We hope everyone’s sump pumps are working as intended. If not, we are here to help! We also offer back up systems that work off the incoming water pressure to the house. They are a great solution for people who have sump pumps that work, until the power goes out.

People keep asking us what we’ve been doing since I launched in January. In part, this. This is a new Viesmann boiler I’m installing with 12 zones of in-floor radiant heat and 2 zones with traditional radiators. This is part of a 5 bathroom home renovation that we are doing. It’s a work in progress. No job is too small, but if it’s in a residential home, no job is too big!!
