In 21 nights, the STRAWBERRY MOON rises on June 29 at 11:56 PM EDT. That alone is worth marking on your calendar. But here is what nobody is mentioning: just two nights before, on June 27, the June Boötid meteor shower peaks. A rising full moon. A meteor shower firing above it. The same final weekend. That kind of overlap is rare, and it only gets rarer.

Then the night of the Strawberry Moon itself, the Moon moves so close to Venus it will actually pass in front of it. That won't happen again for years. Three events. One weekend. Face east after dark on June 27 for the meteors, then watch the same eastern sky on June 29 as that warm golden moon climbs into the night.
