The loquat (Eriobotrya japonica) is a fast-growing, evergreen tree or shrub prized for its large, glossy, dark green leaves, fragrant white winter flowers, and sweet, pear-shaped orange fruit that ripens in early spring. Typically reaching 15–25 feet, it thrives in USDA Hardiness Zones 8–11. Mild winters, here in the variable zone 8A it can produce fruit. The more mature the tree (this one is 5 years from seedling stage) the better the chance of fruit production.

Even if it doesn't fruit though, it's a really top notch evergreen addition to any landscape!

Here is one you won't see very often! Ulmus parvifolia 'Seiju! aka the Seiju Elm. It is a dwarf cultivar of the Chinese elm, prized for bonsai and rock gardens due to its tiny, dark green leaves, delicate branches, and corky bark that develops with age. It's a slow-growing, adaptable plant that thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, offering year-round interest and good resistance to pests like Japanese beetles and diseases like Dutch elm disease. And at only 23.00 it is an absolute steal! I only have two. So it might be a good idea to reserve one as soon as you can!

azalea kurume 'Snow is a beautiful evergreen azalea that responds very well to shaping, by pruning after the flowers fade for the season.
