✨ The Importance of Photo Eyes ~
• How They Work: Photo eyes project an invisible infrared beam across the bottom of your garage door opening (typically 3 to 6 inches off the ground). 🪸
• Safety Mechanism: If a person, pet, or object breaks this beam, the garage door opener will instantly halt and reverse before impact. 🛡️
• The Law: Since January 1, 1993, all automatic residential garage door openers sold in the U.S. are legally required to be equipped with this entrapment protection. ☀️
