Our Wheatland Bear River FFA members have been busy this summer presenting to community partners such as the Yuba River Endowment and the Sutter Buttes Garden Club.

These organizations have been instrumental in supporting our program through funding, guidance, and encouragement. In return, our students are developing leadership, communication, and public speaking skills while sharing the impact of agricultural education.

These experiences bring our core values to life—Excellence, Mentorship, Relationships, and Service—and help our students learn, lead, and grow.

Thank you to our community partners for investing in our students and the future of agriculture.

Time is running out to shop at Falcon Gardens for the season.

Falcon Gardens at Bear River Middle School in Wheatland will be closing on Thursday the 28th until next fall, so now is the time to get your plants before they’re gone.

We still have a great selection of:
• Annuals and perennials
• Vegetables and herbs
• Tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, and more
• Succulents and houseplants
• Garden gifts and décor

Whether you’re finishing your summer garden, shopping for color, or looking for something unique, don’t miss your chance to shop Falcon Gardens before the season ends.
