This is not the best way to add a clean out to you drain. Once this backed up again it was leaking into the basement with no floor drain. Plumbing is one thing in a home that can cause lots of damage as well as health concerns. I was able to install a proper clean out to make sure that if this line backs up again it will not be leaking into the basement again.

Just getting started on our new chapter in life. We have moved to the lake full time. This is something that me and my wife of 24 years have dreamed of and talked about for years. Now that we are down here full time I have opened my own plumbing company. I have been in the plumbing field for longer than I care to admit (23yrs). I am a service/project plumber which means I work on water lines, drain lines and gas lines. Sorry no new construction.
