The American Black Walnut tree, scientific name Juglans Negra. It’s what all the hype is about. At upwards of $15 per board foot (that’s 12” x 12” x 1”) wholesale it’s one of the most expensive domestic hardwoods available. We utilized it in it’s veneer form on this “Dumbwaiter”. FINALLY getting around to checking out this “El Tomato” flush cut fence from that I got over two years ago and putting it to work on a set of stackable chairs designed by , the plans and lumber for which I got, you guessed it, over two years ago. I’m determined not to reach three.
