Full transparency:
The new Summer fragrances should’ve already been photographed, listed and launched… but Pride planning and life has consumed my entire brain. 😅

I WILL have all the new Summer scents with me Saturday morning at Montwell Community Market, though! ✨

To make room, however, the Root + Bloom Spring Collection is officially saying goodbye. I’ve got a handful left, and I’d love to see them find good homes. Things have been moving a little slower lately, but July? July is mine. 💃

Listen, there are no fancy cameras over here. Just my iPhone and some slightly washed out photos because I dragged my candles out into the sunshine with me. ☀️😆

I’ve never used AI-generated backdrops for my product photos because, honestly, I wanted a reason to get outside. This is that reason.

Sometimes it’s discouraging because the amount of sweating, hauling, rearranging, and chasing good lighting it takes to get these “not perfect” photos is definitely more work than dropping a product into an AI simulator…but it feels intentional to me, and that’s important to what we’re trying to build here.

Now, I’m not the AI police either. Lol
No ma’am.
We’re not out here judging.
We’re all just trying to survive.
I’ve 100% used AI for other things cuz heck, it pops up every time you Google something now…but product photos just happens to be where I draw my own personal line, I guess.

Soooo, you’re stuck with my mediocre, iPhone pics outside until I can move on up with better equipment 😜 Alsooo, Ty Hannah Fleshman for offering up your nice camera to help a sis outtt. Ima take you up on that!

Remember our Velvet Solstice winter collection? That’s when so many of you found us while hunting for Christmas gifts. ✨

Welllll, there’s a Summer Solstice too, and it’s coming up FAST, on 6/21. Naturally, we had to pay homage to the sun and all the hard work she does with a brand new seasonal collection. ☀️

Labels are designed, candles are poured, and now it’s time for my favorite part…topping them with locally gathered blooms and making them pretty for your living room. 🪄
