HISTORY IN THE MAKING: Transforming the Besse Hotel! 🏨🛠️

They say they don’t build them like they used to—and when it comes to the historic Besse Hotel in Pittsburg, KS, that’s a fact!
This early 1900s gem is undergoing a massive renovation, and our team is honored to be at the heart of this full gut job.

Modern LVT requires a perfectly flat surface, but 100-year-old floors have a lot of "character"
When the stakes are this high, you call in the specialists. Our crew was hand-selected to flatten a staggering 20,000 square feet of history.
We’ve poured just over 900 bags of Ardex V1300 to ensure
this landmark has a perfect foundation forthe new floor to last another century.

There’s something about a well-placed runner that just ties a whole house together. 🏡

This diamond pattern brought a great balance of texture and style to these stairs without overcomplicating the space. It’s a solid example of how a thoughtful material choice can completely change the vibe of an entryway.
This entire project was fabricated in-house by the crew at Everlasting Installations.
Having the team handle the fabrication from start to finish allows us to maintain a high standard of quality and ensure the layout flows exactly how it should from the top landing to the bottom step.

⛳️ Four, look out ⛳️

Don’t let the sleek, minimalist aesthetic of this golf simulator room fool you—behind the scenes, this project was a high-stakes rescue mission that required that technical expertise we bring to the table.

When we arrived to install a beautiful espresso colored carpet with matching runner, we found a client who had been left in the dark. The original simulator salesperson had promised an installation they couldn't actually deliver and then ghosted the customer entirely. It’s a situation no homeowner should have to deal with, but it’s exactly where we step in.

The Challenge

The vision required a precise 1-¼" elevated turf transition to integrate seamlessly with the surrounding carpet. It looks simple in photos, but achieving that level of flush, durable elevation requires more than just "laying it down."

There is something incredibly satisfying about watching a space evolve, and this transformation is a perfect example.

We just wrapped up the first phase of this project, taking these stairs from dated carpet to a stunning, high-end engineered wood.
Staircases are often the centerpiece of a home, but they’re also one of the most technical areas to get right. It’s all about the precision of the cuts and the seamless flow from the treads to the landing. The warmth and character of this wood have completely shifted the energy of the upper flight.

Today, the crew arrived at a new jobsite and immediately spotted a major hurdle, the subfloor wasn’t anywhere near manufacturer specs.

Full coat of **ARDEX P 51™ Primer to ensure a perfect bond.

The Solution: 50 bags of ARDEX V 1300™ Self-Leveling Underlayment.

Our team quickly calculated the need, submitted a change order, and thanks to an awesome client who understands the value of prep, we got the green light to proceed immediately.

Why V 1300?
They say "Ride the Wave" for a reason—the flow on this product is incredible, 29sq ft at ¼". It makes flattening large areas efficient and precise, ensuring that the final flooring sits perfectly flat and performs for a lifetime.

Precision Meets History, Transforming Old Town Wichita! 🏗️✨
There is something deeply humbling about being entrusted with the soul of a historic building. Out of all the companies in the region, we are incredibly honored to have been selected for this massive renovation project in the heart of Old Town.

We’re tackling 120-foot corridors across four full floors of these iconic historic apartments. This isn't just an installation; it’s a precision operation.

The Transformation 🔄
If you look at the photos, you’ll see the "Before" — a traditional floral carpet that served its time. The "After"? A stunning, modern blue runner that completely shifts the energy of the space while respecting the building's architectural bones.

The Craftsmanship 🛠️
When you’ve been in the flooring industry for over 25 years, you think you’ve seen it all. But I have to be honest, this is personally one of my all-time favorite projects.
From the beautifuly surged edges to the way that modern pattern hits the light in these long hallways, the result is nothing short of elite. Bringing an owner's vision to life in a space with this much history requires more than just tools—it takes a standard of excellence.

From "No Way" to "Flawless Stay!"
You know those moments on a job site where you pull back the old carpet and your heart just… sinks? 📉 That’s exactly what the crew at Everlasting Installations walked into this week.
They arrived ready to lay down a gorgeous new floor, but the subfloor had other plans. It wasn't just "unlevel"—it was completely unfit for a professional install. Most teams would’ve called it a day or told the homeowner "Good luck," but that’s not how these guy's roll. 😤

Instead of backing down, the team shifted gears immediately. They diagnosed the issue, mapped out the solution, and got to work.
