I’ve gotten asked many times, what to wear from a beginner gardener.
I buy men’s soft comfy dress shirts at garage sales. This began 19 years ago. Love those. Also use the ones with polyester mix like a fishing shirt. Always long sleeve to protect from bugs, scratches and sunburn…. sports bras and cotton tank underneath. With a little breeze, the sweaty tank cools you. It’s for real.
Brim hat, cold wet thin towel around neck (today) for heat, gloves, eye protection, and dickies waist clip-on hand tool, phone or tissue holder. Other option is an apron.
