Today is National Human Trafficking Awareness Day.
Human trafficking is a global crisis. And yet we lose sight of how urgent it is.
We don’t realize that survivors of trafficking are:
* The missing and endangered youth we judge for running away
* The single mom working nights in the club to make her bills
* The teen boy at school who is feeling threatened to send nudes
* The child being groomed online through their gaming app
Today, we want to share an amazing resource that A21 created.
The Global Freedom Summit Film is a 50 minute highlight of what trafficking looks like. You hear survivor voices, advocates, and receive practical resources for how to combat this global crisis. Watch here.
Since 2017, Shelter and Rain has advocated in the US. We are dedicated to not only raising awareness of what trafficking looks like, but providing resources to those who have been impacted.
Trafficking affects men, women, and children.
The greatest truth - no one has to go through it alone.
We are here to provide safety and restoration.
If you or someone you love has been affected by human trafficking, we would be honored to walk alongside you.
If you are someone who wants to get more involved in impacted change, there is a place for you. Contact us today to learn more.
