‼️ISO a mechanic shop who specializes in electrical issues, as my mechanic does not ‼️
Here is why..
I’m under the impression that my ECM is going bad in my 2006 GMC Savana 2500 and would like it actually diagnosed and replaced correctly.
A month or so ago after recent rain, she decided she did not want to start. A few hot, dry days go by and she starts right up, just fine again.
A month has gone by and I’ve driven her in between rainy days when I can, no issues unless it rained a day before…. up until now!
She still starts in the afternoon and evening time when temperature has increased and it gets hot. However, in the cool early morning hours when I get my day started, she does not want to start, despite it not having rained in a few days (and despite the fact that she started the night before). My guess is that whatever moisture has gotten where it shouldn’t is causing condensation with these temperature differences between the early morning and afternoon.

I (and my mechanic) have checked all other possible causes of this issue. A windshield reseal was suggested and I’m awaiting a call back for that currently (not the base issue).

If anyone has recommendations or suggestions for a mechanic shop who works on electrical issues PLEASE LET ME KNOW!! I and my precious van thank you!! 🚐
*Video of her starting right up just fine, as of 2 minutes ago for reference.. don’t mind the dust, she’s a working girl*

Check out this shoreline I’ve been busy planting for the past two weeks at the new Windmill Point beach! It has been absolutely amazing to be a part of this project and I can’t thank Docks of the Bay enough for the opportunity.

The past two weeks I’ve watched numerous families and community members enjoy this new beach! Lancaster County, VA Government should be PROUD to provide such a beautiful amenity to their residents and surrounding counties should take note!

We planted just over 3,000 upland marsh grasses including 1,500 beach grass gallons! We also planted over 3,500 Spartina alterniflora plugs!

These grasses will play a CRUCIAL part in maintaining the beach acting as a wave break and sediment trap to help keep the sand on the beach where it belongs, especially during severe storms.

If you haven’t made your way to check out everything that’s been done down Windmill Point, I highly recommend you take a trip! You won’t be disappointed! I also recommend you give Docks of The Bay a call if there’s any shoreline or dock work that you need done!

If you are interested in Shoreline plantings, be sure to give me a call!

🌸 Just in time for Mother’s Day, here are my extra handmade containers and hanging baskets! Thanks for your patience and following along! I tried to make something for everyone from shade tolerant to full sun, and low maintenance succulents! 🤗
‼️THERE ARE LIMITED QUANTITIES- I have one of each container, unless otherwise listed in the caption!
❗️That being said, this is all first come, first served. If you are seriously interested in something and are willing to take a drive to Wicomico Church, DM me for the exact address (check comments for address) and you may come see the selection at my self serve, security monitored farm stand between 8am-6pm. I’m keeping this stand up until this Friday the 8th. I’ll update daily in evenings on what containers remain.
📷 Some pictures are just a different angle/ view of the same container. There will not be a price listed in said photo captions!
☀️ I made sure to mention the light preferences of each container in the captions along with the price for said container/ hanging basket. ⛅️
CONTAINER CARE TIPS:
🌵 Succulents prefer full sun and to be dry! Bottom water ONLY every two weeks or so for best results. They also overwinter nicely as houseplants!
💧 All containers will dry out from the edges inward. Be sure to thoroughly water containers up to the edge (except succulents) until water drips out the bottom holes. Lift the plant up to get underneath foliage if necessary. I personally recommend a thorough watering once weekly, but if it should need to be sooner, plants will begin to appear droopy and sad.
👉 Not sure whether your container needs water or not? Stick a finger at least a couple inches into the soil. You will feel how wet or dry it is. Test many areas for larger containers.
✂️ Trim away any yellow or brown foliage, deadheads, as well as any leggy parts of the “spiller” plants weekly for best, lasting appearance.
💰 CASH BOX with payment info. pointed out with red arrows in this picture for clarity!
🗣️ Share with friends who you think may be in need of some flowers this Mothers Day!
THANK YOU!

😮‍💨 What a busy couple of weeks it has been!!
On top of making a trip to up to Maryland to pick up a trailer load of shoreline plants last week, I’ve been busy installing away!!
🌸 Not only am I installing shoreline plugs, but it’s also the time of year that I install annuals for containers and hanging baskets too!
📸 Pictured below are three shady hanging baskets I planted and delivered to a client this morning before another shoreline job! I love playing garden fairy 🧚‍♀️
👍 Like this page and follow along for more of my container creations that I’ll be posting early next week, as I may or may not have gotten a little plant happy at the nursery 😅… and I may have a few extra hot pots up for grabs!
Stay tuned🪴!

🔥 Coming in hot with the first Spring container install of 2026!! 🔥
Shady plant edition, featuring ferns, caladium, impatiens, and some creeping jenny as the spiller 🤩!
It is my greatest joy being a garden fairy for my clients, leaving behind trails of colorful happiness that’ll last throughout the Spring and Summer! Happy gardening friends! 🧚‍♀️

❗️ Here’s a gardening tip, gardener to gardener, for your Tuesday!
🐿️ Have trouble with pets and/or pests, like squirrels and deer, nibbling on your tasty tulips? Sprinkling ground cayenne pepper onto the bulbs directly after planting and about weekly after foliage appears, helps to deter unwanted attention! 🦌
🌸 OH, and a reminder that your bulbs appreciate a fertilization post bloom!
Happy Spring from your local, fertilizer certified, gardener! 🌿
You’ll see my name, Sylvia Casillas, on the list 😎

Pulling trailers full of mulch, much less backing up trailers full of mulch, was not on my list of skills a year ago.. I can finally say that I have learned the ways of a trailer (after about a year 😅) and I feel pretty great about it! 🤩
✅ I’m grateful for the skills and knowledge that being a business owner has taught me and ready for what’s next!
Thanks to my teacher for your endless patience, lessons, and error corrections in this grand gardening adventure of mine!
See ya next mulching season, my trailer friend!
