Homes are such personal spaces. They should feel special, a place you truly enjoy spending time in and a reflection of who you are. Getting it right matters, and having someone who really listens can make all the difference.

Color has a huge psychological impact, and decorative finishes are even more customized and personal. That’s why I always create samples before anything ever goes on a wall. Sometimes clients come with Pinterest ideas or saved inspiration photos and we build from there. Other times they know they want something unique but aren’t quite sure what, and together we collaborate and create something that ends up being even better than they imagined.

These are a few examples of recent sample boards I’ve created.

Real estate keeps me very busy these days, so I don’t take on as much decorative painting work as I once did. But when I do, I want to make sure people love their homes and are happy with the finished result. Seeing someone’s reaction when it all comes together is still one of the best feelings.

Throwback Thursday

Powder rooms are such a fun space to design, even though they’re usually the smallest room in the house, they’re the one everyone sees. And the best part? They don’t have to match the rest of the home. They can be their own little work of art.

In this home, everything was neutral, but my client had touches of red throughout, so we decided to have a little fun with it.

I started with a rich red base coat and layered a copper glaze stencil over top for depth and texture.

It’s one of those spaces where you can think big, even in a small footprint, and create something truly memorable

Big smiles for my seller this weekend! After everything she’s been through, this couldn’t have come at a better time. We’ve got a few more hurdles ahead, but this is a beautiful first step toward her next chapter. So thankful she chose me, and I’d love to do the same for you. 💚
