Yes, this is gonna take a while and I am very very grateful for the days when this pops up on your feed and you take that 2 minutes to cast a vote! It means a lot !! More than simply advancing me closer to the finals, it also increases my visibility and raises awareness for the arts and the work done at the Art of Elysium. Dearest Everybody that this reaches - Today is DOUBLE VOTING DAY!! Your one free vote counts as two!! I have been whittled down to 10th in my group, so THANK YOU!
I also want to let you guys know that this competition goes on till July!! Yes, that is long. For several reasons. It is a large pool of artists who get in and whittling down to sub categories, etc is necessary. In addition, this is a FUNDRAISER Competition. All funds raised goes into the very worthwhile Art of Elysium which :
" . . . . . uses creativity as a catalyst for healing and connection. Since 1997, the organization has empowered artists and communities through tailor-made art programs designed to help people overcome social and emotional challenges".
Keeping the competition long does assist in increasing fundraising for the organization. The fundraising is lead by a fundraising company called Colossal. I will add links to both A.O.E. and Colossal to my profile or you can copy and paste from here.
