As I walked around the garden this morning I noticed a few beautiful things. We had just a small amount of rain last night but all the flowers looked so happy. The box turtle seemed happy too. They knew that the big rain was still on the way. I am so thankful for the big rain storm we had today. It did not take the beetles away though. 🤣☔️

Hi! Sunrise Gardens will not be at the market on Saturday. We are taking the weekend off to celebrate Father’s Day. I am planning on writing the newsletter and sending it tomorrow afternoon. Grateful and Thankful- Mr. Rogers always said that when something scary was happening that his mother would say to “look for the helpers.” I just have to say that the helpers/angels/first responders were at our farmers market on Saturday and in action. And all of this week with people checking in and praying for everyone at the market on Saturday. The overwhelming gratitude I have as one who was helped has brought tears to my eyes plenty through the week. We all are helpers and I hope to be even more of one after Saturday. So get ready for extra smiles, maybe a few tears, and lots of joy. I often refer to the market as a little bit of Mr. Roger’s neighborhood in 2026. Customers and vendors become friends. Customers see people they know from work and school and stop to talk as they shop. We ask each other how our weeks have been. It’s wonderful…. And beautiful. Thank you everyone for all the love, support, and continued prayers.

Reminder- check water levels daily on your flower arrangements. These flowers are drinking so fast. Rearranging and recutting the stems after a few days is also recommended. Sometimes you need to switch vases. Always use a very clean vase. Enjoy creating something beautiful 🦋
