Part two of my Live Wedding Portrait Day. We took the inspiration photo with the couple in the greenhouse. Next, I sketched them in and got to work painting everything in! It is definitely a long day of working from a blank canvas to a decently finished product. I then take it to my studio to work on it, filling in details, finishing up her dress and making it that much more beautiful. Thanks so much to Stephanie & Brian for having me out to paint their wedding portrait! 🩷

Part one of my recent Live Wedding Portrait Day! I got to start outside at this beautiful greenhouse in Joliet. The weather was perfect and they had a nice shady area that I could work in. The first thing is to set up my easel. Then I went to get the background inspiration photo inside the greenhouse. I started working on that while they had the ceremony. It was so pretty and the Bride’s dress was amazing!

My second live wedding is this Saturday! Very exciting. I did some research on the location and gathered some wedding pictures of past couples in the Greenhouse. I like to visualize and see some of the best spots that made beautiful photos at the venue. Which spot do you like best?

I’m excited to be doing my first Live Wedding this coming Saturday in St Louis! The amazing thing is that we will be using this mint green vintage car for the painting! I found some awesome pictures to get inspiration for the bride & groom pose. The church is in the 4th photo. Can’t wait to make them a beautiful painting to cherish for generations.
