I never thought I would be the mom who would be considered crunchy, whatever that means, but here I am! When my children go to the grocery store, they often point at things and say “poison!” Haha! If you are like me, you are getting tired of your kids’ tummies getting really sick from a simple chocolate bar. Though we love Justin’s organic peanut butter cups they are quite expensive! This recipe only consist of 2 tablespoons of .cz coconut oil, 1/4 cup of cocoa powder, 1/4 cup of chocolate sugar free melts and your choice of organic peanut butter nut we love .cz! Heat the coconut oil, cocoa powder, and melts on your stove top at a low setting and stir consistently to avoid burning. A double broil method is not needed! Use a silicone mini muffin pan and add chocolate on the bottom, layer with a small amount of peanut butter, and cover with the remaining chocolate. Freeze for 15 minutes and is ready to serve! I keep these in the refrigerator in a sealed case because we like the little crunch! You can also do dupe of crunch bars by doing the chocolate step, but adding rice cereal instead!! The combinations are endless! This is the easiest little extra dessert at the end of dinner or let’s face it… bribing your kids to clean up their toys without the guilt! These are delicious to add in a homemade ice cream!!
