Based in Texas, Melody Thomson (the artist) has been painting pottery for 2 decades now. She used to have a hand-painted clothes boutique on the San Antonio Riverwalk, but since making the transition to pottery her art has been bought/sold by Greg Abbott (as a gift to the governor of Flo

rida), the Bullock Texas State History Museum, and the Old Mill Store in Wimberley, TX. Melody orders plain bisque then hand paints it in her home studio; the pottery is then kiln fired to make it microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe. Her family still uses most of the 'rejectamenta' items she painted over a decade ago, making her art truly timeless due to its beauty and durability.
