Rose of Sharon Designs LLC Professional Furniture Refinisher Welcome to my page! I have always loved well-crafted beautiful things in every form.

In my part of the country the Rose of Sharon is a flower that blooms later in the summer season, and I consider myself a late bloomer to this passion. In a previous life I studied Art in college, spent 10 years in the Army and have now worked for over a decade as a public servant, but my love for design, furniture and art go back much further. I grew up in upstate NY where cherry trees grow in abu

ndance, antique shops are a dime a dozen, Stickley fine furniture and Harden factories were just up the road, and everyone has a grandmother with a houseful of amazing antiques. But when they are things of function, it’s even better! So when I saw other people turning things of function into works of art, I knew I wanted to do that too! I find this artistic outlet something that enriches my soul, and creating beautiful furniture that makes people happy gives me such joy. I want to provide beautiful furnishings that have a unique signature style. I believe everyone should be able to afford a beautiful, unique, high end, well made, one of a kind piece of furniture. I provide an extensive array of finishes based on your vision or mine. Whether it is your existing furniture or a piece you own, I will transform it into something beautiful!

A re-stain from red to a more modern brown tone. These cuties are from Harden of McConnellsville, N.Y.. I would have absolutely killed for this set in my former NY colonial home. They are solid cherry and are gorgeous.
